   Mandarin Teaching Assistant, Punahou School After-School Language Program

   Served all four years of high school as a Mandarin teaching assistant in the school's after-school immersion language program, conversing with and mentoring kindergarten-through-middle-school students entirely in Chinese

   Lead Tutor, Peer Learning Center (Punahou School)

   Led peer tutoring at the school's Peer Learning Center, tutoring classmates directly and coordinating other student tutors within the school's learning commons

   Volunteer, Local Homeless Shelter

   Volunteered at a local homeless shelter since third grade, a sustained community-service commitment of roughly nine years through high school

   Founder, Precious by Kate (handmade jewelry business)

   Founded and ran a handmade jewelry brand starting in 2018 (idea) and officially launched January 2019, selling on Etsy and a self-built website; grew the brand through social media and influencer marketing

   Co-founded a school Just Dance club junior year with a friend; led members in regular play sessions and organized visits to nearby Shriners Children's Hawaii to dance with pediatric patients undergoing treatment for cancer and autoimmune conditions

   Built and independently runs a YouTube channel (~78,000 subscribers at time of application) since junior year, filming videos on school, lifestyle, health, and fashion to entertain, educate, and help viewers

   Traveled on a summer mission trip to Taiwan to run day-care activities and share the gospel with children ages 5 to 12, following prior on-island evangelism summers; serves on her church youth activity board coordinating events for the youth group
