   Rose to President of the Connecticut YMCA Youth and Government delegation; wrote and sponsored bills, debated them at the State Capitol in Hartford, and advanced legislation through a statewide mock General Assembly (active since freshman year)

   Participated for two years and became President of Connecticut's Youth in Law program, arguing cases as a trained student attorney under practicing-lawyer mentorship within the state YMCA High School Assembly

   Campaign Intern, Gayle Slossberg for State Senate

   Volunteered sophomore year on State Senator Gayle Slossberg's re-election campaign for Connecticut Senate District 14 (Milford, Orange, West Haven, Woodbridge), supporting grassroots outreach for the incumbent

   Delegate, Model United Nations

   Represented her high school as a Model United Nations delegate junior year, including a conference trip to Yale Model United Nations, a four-day simulation drawing roughly 1,800 delegates from 35+ countries to debate global policy in Yale classrooms

   Public Affairs Intern, International Government Strategies

   Interned over the summer of junior year with International Government Strategies, a bipartisan Connecticut lobbying and government-relations firm in Milford, gaining hands-on exposure to the advocacy side of state politics

   Registered voters at a Latino community nonprofit, conducting outreach and processing registration forms in Spanish to serve Spanish-speaking residents; matches her LinkedIn role at Junta for Progressive Action, New Haven's oldest Latino nonprofit (founded 1969)

   Founder & President, American Sign Language Club

   Founded and led her high school's American Sign Language Club junior year after teaching herself ASL the prior summer, running weekly themed lessons that introduced peers to Deaf-community language and culture

   Self-Taught Mandarin Chinese

   Independently studied Mandarin Chinese, teaching herself the language and planning to continue formal study in college alongside her broader interest in language learning

   Studied Spanish continuously from seventh grade through senior year, building fluency tied to her Hispanic heritage and applied directly in her Spanish-language community advocacy work
